When you visit the website

The site is hosted on Cloudflare Pages. To deliver pages and protect the site from attacks, Cloudflare processes technical data for each request, such as your IP address, the page requested, and your browser's user agent.

We use Cloudflare Web Analytics to count visits. It records aggregate information such as the page viewed, the referring site, the browser and device type, the country, and page-load speed. It sets no cookies, stores nothing on your device, and does not build a profile of you. We only see totals.

Legal basis: our legitimate interest in running a secure website and understanding how many people use it (GDPR Art. 6(1)(f)).

When you email us

We receive your name, email address and whatever you choose to include in your message. We use it to reply and, if you ask us for a proposal or we start working together, to prepare and carry out that work.

Legal basis: steps taken at your request before entering into a contract, and the contract itself (Art. 6(1)(b)); otherwise our legitimate interest in answering enquiries (Art. 6(1)(f)).

We keep correspondence as long as the conversation is relevant. If it leads to a contract, related records are kept for the periods required by Romanian tax and accounting law.

Who else sees it

We do not sell or share your data for marketing. It is processed only by the providers that host our website (Cloudflare) and our email, acting on our instructions, or disclosed where the law requires it.

Cloudflare, Inc. is based in the United States. Transfers to it are covered by the EU–US Data Privacy Framework and the European Commission’s Standard Contractual Clauses.

Your rights

You can ask us to access, correct or delete your data, or to limit or object to how we use it, by writing to office@swanalytica.com. We reply within one month. You can also complain to the Romanian data protection authority, ANSPDCP (dataprotection.ro).
